Legislation, policies and standards

The New Zealand government have several key legislation policies for higher education. These generally have a life-span defined by a governmental term of 3 to 4 years. Working at the University of Melbourne 2020-present has given me a wider perspective on the different approaches to legislation, policy and standards between countries (NZ-Australia) and States (Victoria, Australia).

Policy issues

Every institution will have various policies that impact the use of learning technologies, usually incorporated within a 3 to 5 year strategic direction plan.
